Week 6

Kia Ora Koutou
On Tuesday, November 20th Te Whare Tui braved the weather and went paddleboarding on Lake Ngatu next to our school.
48 students, 8 parents 2 teachers and the Paddleboarding instructors Scott and Jo enjoyed their day at the lake even though the southerly wind was very cold and the heavy rain caused a torrent of water to flow under the sides of our gazebo over the matting and through the bags sheltering under the cover.
As the rain got heavier the 2  first groups that had had their turn traveled back to school to the warmth of their classroom to finish eating their lunch and watch a movie for the rest of the afternoon.
We all had a great day and are looking forward to our next session with SUP BRO paddleboarding.

  1. Wow Te Whare Tui Whanau! It looks like you have had a great day out, what a pity that the weather cut the adventure short. What other trips have you done this year?
